Gastroscopy

Gastroscopy is a review of the upper parts of the digestive system (esophagus, stomach and duodenal ulcer). The gastroscope is an instrument for examination and allows the inside of these digestive organs to be seen on the monitor. Review takes 30 minutes.

INDICATIONS / WHY IT IS DONE?

• A small amount of tissue for a pathohistological analysis can be taken during the procedure.
